Change starts at the individual level. 

 

Your job is to become informed of the reality of genocide past and present. You will work with a small group to research and discuss key events. After conducting research, you and your peers will read and discuss artistic responses to genocide in the form of poems. You will reflect on your research in a number of writing exercises. Lastly, you will write a Personal Mission Statement that outlines one step you can make towards making a difference in the world.
